Blackpool Civic Trust Award 2009
We are pleased to announce that St John’s Primary School has won the coveted Blackpool Civic Trust Best New Build in Blackpool Award 2009.
The school is located on a tight site in Blackpool’s busy town centre. It is unique in design and received a BREEAM rating of “Very Good” at the design stage.
The structure is a steel frame with terracotta cladding to the main elevation and has playdecks on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors.
Also included in the works was a covered car park to the rear of the building bitmac surfacing and soft play area.
