And yet another award!

St John’s New Build Primary School has won another award! This 2nd award, given by Blackpool Council, is a “Building Excellence Award” in recognition of the high level of commitment shown by ourselves and the design team – Aedas – towards meeting exacting building standards and the Building Regulations delivered through Blackpool Building Control.

Seen here is the award being presented to Andy Kershaw – Contracts Manager – by Blackpool’s Mayor Norman Hardy at the award ceremony held in Blackpool Town Hall.

In winning this award the project is now nominated for the 2010 LABC Regional Awards for Leading Construction and Architecture Awards.
Fingers crossed as we will know later this month whether the project has been successful in being shortlisted.
