Shevington High School

This contract comprises of the construction of a single storey extension to the Maths block, creation of an atrium to the canteen, the internal refurbishment of various classrooms and the adaptation of layouts throughout the school to provide additional classrooms for this growing school. Also included in the works is the replacement of all the single glazed windows in the main school building thus improving both aesthetics and the efficiency of the school.

There will also be a canopied walkway to some of the new teaching areas, the Lecture Theatre will be upgraded to provide an additional work space for the Performing Arts Faculty and the School Gym will be relocated.

This project is part of the Wigan Council capital framework.
