Tatton Dale Farm

The farm is set in a corner of Tatton Park known as Tatton Dale and was, in its heyday, at the heart of the 2000 acre historic estate in Cheshire.

The scheme, which is part funded by the Heritage Lottery fund, is to help tell the story of food production for a large country estate from the late 18th century to the 1950s. Ultimately, the ‘Field to Fork’ project will ensure the conservation and realisation of the farm’s inherent heritage to ensure its long term sustainability and contribution to the broader Tatton Park estate and Cheshire East Council objectives.

The plans include the opening up of several farm buildings which have been closed to the public for decades including the mill, other buildings will be re-interpreted in the light of the food production theme, repair will be undertaken to a number of historic farm buildings and the construction of a new multi-functional group space building.
