BBC Radio Lancashire
The project involved the complete refurbishment of the ground floor of an existing radio station as well as the refurbishment of first floor rooms, to form an office and learning centre. The ground floor works involved forming a reception area, learning zone and interactive display area, which in turn was adjacent to a new “On Display to the Public” studio. Major demolition and structural work took place to achieve the “open space feeling” required by the client. This sensitive work was carried out whilst keeping the old reception area and with the studios live and fully operational.
