Ponden Mill/ Creative Industries Hub
The project was the refurbishment of the former Ponden Mill Building to create a “Creative Industries Hub”. The works comprised of
- Remodelling the 1st and 2nd floors to create Individual Business Units served by core facilities.
- Demolition and internal alterations to the existing internal layout, including forming a new roof opening for Lift Shaft.
- The construction of internal partitions, floor, wall and ceiling finishes complete with redecoration, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, electrical services and IT.
Core areas included new staircases, finishes, redecoration kitchen facilities and services.
External works comprised of a new curtain wall system to the full frontage and side elevation of the building (this includes the Ground Floor) and the removal of the current canopy to the front and side elevations.
