The project works comprise of the demolition of existing Church and Community Centre and construction of new 3 storey, steel frame Life Church and Community Centre on piled foundations with associated external works including car parking facilities.
The new facility is to meet the needs of its growing congregation numbers. The new 400-seat Church will include a large meeting room, crèche, smaller meeting rooms and administration offices. There will be a large foyer on the ground floor with an open plan café area and 50 space car park.
David Rolles, Operations Manager at Life Church said “It will not just be a Church building, but will be very multi-purpose and open to all who need to use it including business and community groups. It will be very modern and quite different from a traditional church building.”
