Woodfield Primary School

The refurbishment of the Junior Block was to provide Early Years facilities and associated external works and the refurbishment of the Infant Block to provide Office facilities and a Community Library. The works were carried in two phases comprising of a total of four sections.        

The works were carried out in 2 key phases in order to minimise disruption to school as it remained in occupation throughout the construction period.

Phase 1 comprised of the internal alterations and refurbishment of existing areas of the school including classrooms and staff rooms; together with the replacement of the external doors/ windows to the Early Years Facility.

Also included within the Phase 1 works was the installation of new fencing to both the Early Years and the Juniors together with a new playground and new access road/ parking.

When the Phase 1 was complete, all pupils were then relocated into the Junior block.

Phase 2 works consisted of the internal refurbishment of the Infant Block to provide improved classrooms, offices and a community library.
