Urgent Care Centre, Blackpool Victoria Hospital
The works was completed over 4 phases and involved the construction of a single storey predominately glazed extension which provides reception, waiting and ancillary spaces to the existing ground floor of one of the country’s busiest A&E Departments. The department provides a full range of services for the towns 330,000 residents as well as the 12 million annual visitors to the resort. Also included in the works was associated installation of electrical, mechanical, IT data and emergency services with the last phase being the refurbishment and relocation of an existing original feature “clock tower” to an existing traffic island in front of the new building. The works were completed working alongside the busy A&E Department.
