Team Parkinson is embarking on another charity challenge and this time are looking to raise money for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) charity.

The team of 16 employees from across the company will undertake the ‘Way of the Roses’ coast to coast cycle ride in 2 days:-

Day 1 will start on the 25th July 2015 at Bridlington Lifeboat station, they will then cycle the 100 miles before an overnight stop in Bishops Thornton.

Day 2 will cover the final 80 miles of the journey over the hills to the finish line at Blackpool Lifeboat station.

We are looking to raise £3000 for the RNLI who provide a vital service around the coastline of Briton. They keep a modern fleet of lifeboats ever-ready to go to the rescue from one of their 236 lifeboat stations. All of this is an expensive business and costs around £385,000 a day to run the RNLI.

The challenge will be funded by each team member so all your donations will go direct to the charity.

Your support would be greatly appreciated in order to raise money for this worthy charity. Please click on the link below to sponsor Team Parkinson via the JustGiving website:-

We will also look to acknowledge all our sponsors in the weeks leading up to and during the challenge on our website and social media.
