As part of our fundraising efforts for our charity of the year, Butterwick House Children’s Hospice, we have raised a staggering £2541.51 through the charity five a side football tournament and raffle on the 29th November 2019. This was held at Burnholme Sports Centre and also marked the completion of works to upgrade the Sports Centre which we have been working on for City of York Council since March.
Raffle prizes were kindly donated by employees, sub-contractors, friends and acquaintances.
The funds raised will cover one day’s specialist care at Butterwick House for babies, children, young adults and their families living with a life limiting illness throughout the region.
In addition to the funds raised for the charity, staff kindly bought an extra Christmas present to donate to the children attending the Butterwick House Hospice Christmas Party.
We are supporting this worthy cause as the son of one of our employees, Mark McGurry, regularly attends Butterwick House Children’s Hospice.
