We have recently completed the first new Covid cubicle screen which was installed within the live Accident & Emergency (A&E) Department at Royal Oldham Hospital. The cubicle will be used for patients who are suspected Covid positive upon arrival to A&E.
They are fitted with glass screens, privacy curtains and vents which can be closed to restrict any airborne particles leaving the cubicle.
These bespoke screens are part of a rolling programme of work within the A&E department.
