We have recently completed the rebuild of part of an existing engine bay at the Direct Rail Services depot in Motherwell which was badly damaged in a fire in 2007.

The works consisted of a steel structure, re-cladded roof, large mechanical and electrical packages including ventilation for train exhaust fumes, a radiant heating system at high level and LED environmentally friendly lighting.

Neil White, Direct Rail Services said “Working with F Parkinson as a new supplier was collaborative and successful from the start the the completion of the project. The team they had worked with DRS to deliver the project and communicated throughout so not to disrupt the business as usual while construction work was completed.”
