We support various charities at Christmas time and this year we chose to help The Trussell Trust food banks. Yesterday we dropped off a mountain of donations which filled 4 vans at food banks located in Blackpool, Manchester and York.
Over 1.2 million of emergency food parcels were given out by the Trussell Trust between April and September this year (that’s just 6 months), and the food banks gave out 2,600 parcels to children every day in the first six months of the pandemic; so collaboratively, we have helped to address this situation.
We have been overwhelmed by the response received from both our staff and our supply chain and we cannot thank you all enough for the kind donations. These will make such a difference to all those families who are struggling this Christmas.
