Festival House

As part of Blackpool’s regeneration programme, Festival House provides a focal point for visitors which include a Tourist Information Centre, restaurant and a registrar office with ceremony hall.

The striking design encompasses a dynamic cantilevered volume. This space is oriented toward the Blackpool Tower, with a single, large window opening providing a specifically selected view of the Tower. The whole structure has been formed using compressed laminate timber (spruce), harvested from renewable sources.
